| omg!!!
hahaha was just having a wall to wall chat with syaz! damn funny la that girl, talking about revolving closets and redecorating the rooms, like giler ONE TREE HILL.. haih i miss her so much! miss everyone back home. just found out that i am the ONLY PERSON on my corridor who is NOT going home for christmas holidays, well, 5 are going back permanently, coz they are transfer students, and 4 live in UK.. so that just leaves, 3 of us, and 2 of the non-UK non-transfer students are going back... they all say that it doesnt count coz i have friends all over UK...but it still counts!!! 
LUCKILY WE WILL BE GOING TO PARIS!!!! weehooooo!!! and london for christmas. and shopping. honestly i should get a job as one of those "test subjects" for the science and research dept here..income for shopping. best giler. if only i wasnt allergic to everything! bummer. i bet they pay alot.
I have finally finished all my assignments for next week and i really thought i wouldnt have finished my CEI essay in time... but i did... and now i am bored to death... i finally figured out the secret to the heater knobs in the room, and now my room is so nice and warm! hehe...
Just now i actually listened to football commentary on BBC coz the pub was so damn full. it was so cool though... kinda slow, like oneminute off... fuzzy kinda ruined the build up to the goal by IM-ing goal! to me.. haha then one minute later the commentator announced the goal. hehe. how silly.
Ok well, i gtg wash my plates and pan. i had murtabak. yummy,

| I shouldnt have posted the post before this saying that i was sleepy. now I've jinxed myself and I can't sleep. First time since I've been in UK, first time in two months, I can't sleep. I should have known when I woke up yesterday. I woke up with the feeling that I was back home. I woke up and seriously had the "where the hell am I?!" feeling. Granted I had a nightmare.. Well sort of, it ended with the name of my least fav person in my former stats 2 class being repeated over and over for some reason so totally unrelated to the whole dream that I had to begin with! Not that the earlier part of the dream wasn't any weirder.
So now here I am up, and clueless about what to do. Maybe I'm up coz ppl on my corridor are just slamming doors left and right which is really annoying me!!! but I have a feeling that they are drunk, and I dont know how to deal with drunken ppl, so I shall keep my distance. But I am annoyed coz I have a 9am class and I have to sleep like now so that I wont be so groggy in the morning!
I wish I could just fall asleep right now.

| I slept at about 2, and woke up at 12, had 10 hours of sleep. yet, now its 4, and I am so sleepy.
I had such a weird dream last night, and definitely NOT going to mention it here. coz it was so weird.
I really feel so unproductive. but I have at least memorised my french phrases and done half of my econs assignment.. which is not due til next week. I was panicking thinking it was due next week! but havent started my contemporary econs issues essay which IS due this week.
reading goodnight beautiful right now... well, just now, before blogging... I succumbed to my craving for twix. After having a banana for dessert after a brunch of 3 slices of toast with loads of butter, AND a chicken burger. I wanted to actually have lamb, but... its gone? i can't find it in the fridge. but suddenly, the amount of chicken patties have tripled! there are 3 packets of the same chicken burger patties that i bought last week... so WEIRD.

| ever since i changed my profile picture on facebook to a single shot of me instead of a group photo, i've been getting loads of friend requests. made me wonder if my friends were ugly.
no i am just kidding! hahaha.. they are gorgeous.
i am just being random. i've been learning my french verbs which we have to memorise, 70 by this tuesday. I've been repeating them over and over for about an hour, so yes, i think i've got them down to pat! maybe.
i think it is now officially winter. almost wore my blue anorak out today. but i didnt. if i have to wear that at the beginning of winter, god knows what i'm gonna wear in the middle of winter! maybe those paddington like coats with THERMALS. thermals. mine and jo's big nightmare...
i was chatting with fau, fuzzles and syaz in the evening. dont know how i'm gonna be able to take not seeing them for 8 more months! its really only been 2 months since i've been here. i'm not homesick... just friend-sick...
went to boots today and spent about an hour there... everything looks so pretty in their pretty packaging. i brought a shoping list with me though, complete with the price i am willing to pay for each item. i did not gain alot of "consumer surplus". paid almost exactly what i was willing to pay. got my haagen dazs. gained consumer surplus on THAT! hahaha.. thought it was 2.99 pounds. but nope, it was 2.50 same price as a junior BR cone. what the heck right. i am so excited to eat it. gotta turn the heater up real high so i can really enjoy my ice cream later!
i was looking at perfume catalogues and i really cant wait for my perfume to finish, as much as i love my ralph and ralph cool. damn it i should have just brought one  the next perfume i am planning to get is l'occitane cherry blossom. been wanting to get it since my birthday, LAST YEAR. just never got around to it. but i WILL soon.. i thought l'occitane was a french word... the something, but it isnt... dont know what it is. maybe my dictionary is not as reliable as i thought it was.

| my first post since like.. ages and ages. not even in the same country anymore. I'm in UK now! it's sort of lonely but there are fun times! I'm beginning to love cooking, and just now while making chicken, it brought me back to those times in chem lab a-levels when everyone would ask "is it pale yellow yet?" before putting in the starch indicator... coz the packet for the sauce said cook chicken until golden brown... heck if i know what golden brown is. But it turned out to be yummy. The thing is, its cold here, so the food gets cold so fast! its so irritating... there I am cooking a nice healthy meal and while I am filling in water in my cup my food goes cold.
Today, I drank so much water, Jo would be so proud of me. Usually, -since I dont trust this hard water business here- I boil the water from the "drinking water" tap, and then filter it. But today, as my source of clean water depleted faster than usual, I brought my filter to the kitchen and filtered straight from the tap. OMG. I dont know how ppl can actually drink water from the tap! I saw the difference in water composition pre-filter and after filter... pre-filter it was really cloudy and it just looked so unappealing..! I had second thoughts about not boiling it before drinking it, but it looked clean after filtering, so yeah wish me luck.
Although I said I won't, and I won't and can't, I reallyyy realllyyy reallyyy wish I was going home for the holidays! I better make sure I get a job to save up to come back next christmas. Or Easter! haha... means LESS SHOPPING. the last of the clothing articles I'm getting are boots and MAYBE, just maybe, if I can't stand the cold of winter (which I believe is starting... tmrw) I may get a thicker coat. We went shopping for boots the other day, but it IS so incredibly difficult to actually find the perfect pair! it is insane. I decided that screw it, I'm just gonna get uggs, so i looked it up online, and those things are very expensive! like 80 pounds on sale! wooo 
I am going to Boots tmrw to do my toiletery shopping. Running out of toner, soap and lotion. And then I am going to pop by Sainsbury's, coz they sell Haagen Dazs (in pints) for 2.99pounds!!! THAT is so CHEAP! like...15 ringgit, cheaper than 2 scoops of haagen dazs back home!  The baskin robbins junior cone is 2.50pounds... which is pretty damn expensive. Its all good coz I've always preferred Haagen Dazs! hehehe.. I'm so excited.
